Our Salon in Bird Rock

Waylon® Salon & Boutique opened in October of 2016 by Owner and Stylist Alli Hayes.

Waylon®—meaning a piece of land by way of road—is nestled in the heart of Bird Rock in La Jolla, California. We are located close to the ocean, surrounded by some of the best shopping boutiques and restaurants in town.

Meet The Team

Alli Hayes

Alli has devoted her professional life to achieving excellence as a successful business woman and hair designer. She is known for her energetic personality and close client relationships.

Molly O’Rourke

Molly has spent nearly 2 decades devoted to the beauty Industry. After graduating from a Pivot Point Academy in Delaware, she began her career on the east coast. She continued to further her education by attending the Redken Exchange and Nick Arrojo’s advanced academy in NYC before moving to beautiful Kaua’i, Hawai’i.

Amber Pybrum

Growing up in Santa Cruz California gave Amber a great appreciation for the beach. So when she decided to move to San Diego for her education she was positive it would be an easy transition.

Kim Lipcius

Kim Lipcius is a Florida native. She has been in the hair industry since 2004, where she began her career in a Salon in Tampa, Florida. She spent the next 9 years doing hair and also had the privilege of working and traveling with the Tampa Bay Buccaneer cheerleaders.

nicole rene heth

Nicole has been in the beauty industry since 2006. Her extensive training comes from having the opportunity to assist and work alongside some of LA’s top celebrity stylists.

Brooke Hubbard

With over a decade of experience in the hair industry, Brooke is no stranger to the beauty industry. Her career began by attending one of Cosmetologies leading schools, Paul Mitchell the School.

Shaye

Born and raised in Scottsdale Arizona, Shaye has always had a passion for the beauty industry. She began her education at Paul Mitchell the school of Phoenix, after graduating in 2012 she began working front desk quickly learning the ins and outs of how salon in ran.

Ashley

Ashley grew up in the Bay Area and went to college at Sacramento State and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. She then continued her education at Paul Mitchell Hair School to get her cosmetology license.

Amanda Moon

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Amanda was ready to get out of her comfort zone and explore a new area. She fell in love with San Diego especially with all the sun kissed blondes she would come across and knew that San Diego was her forever home.
