Waylon® Salon & Boutique opened in October of 2016 by Owner and Stylist Alli Hayes.
Waylon®—meaning a piece of land by way of road—is nestled in the heart of Bird Rock in La Jolla, California. We are located close to the ocean, surrounded by some of the best shopping boutiques and restaurants in town.

Emma has had a passion for doing hair since a young age, and it has always been the only career she envisioned for herself. Born in San Diego and raised in Central Oregon, she moved back to San Diego in 2022 to pursue her education at Paul Mitchell the School San Diego. She completed the program in 2023 and obtained her cosmetology license shortly after.
