Emma has had a passion for doing hair from a young age, and it has always been the only career she envisoned for herself. Born in San Diego and raised in Central Oregon, she moved back to San Diego in 2022 to pursue her education at Paul Mitchell the School San Diego. She completed the program in 2023 and obtained her cosmetology license shortly after.

Emma specializes in custom haircuts, curly hair, enhancing natural texture, and lived-in color, with a focus on creating personalized, wearable looks that grow out beautifully.

After working in Bird Rock for a few years, Emma discovered Waylon Salon and immediately connected with the energy, creativity, and strong sense of community the salon brings. She has also had the privilege of working under owner Alli Hayes for nearly a year, where she continues to refine her skills in cutting, coloring, and styling through hands-on mentorship.

As she continues to grow her clientele in San Diego, Emma looks forward to welcoming new and returning clients into her chair.
