Abby Barlow is a mid-west native, who received her cosmetology license from the Douglas J.
Aveda Institute in East Lansing, Michigan. In the summer of 2005, Abby’s career began at the high end Aveda Salon as an assistant to 3 very busy stylist. Within 6 months she built a clientele and now has over a decade of experience doing hair & makeup professionally.
In 2011, Abby decided it was time for a change of scenery and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. Her passion for beauty quickly created opportunities as a hair and makeup artist for fashion shows and magazine photoshoots. Four years later she moved to sunny San Diego and made her way to Waylon Salon.
In addition to her Cosmetology experience, Abby’s background in Art has really enhanced her creative approach to making individuals look and feel their best. She specializes in tape-in extensions, sun-kissed balayage color and special event makeup.
